Donte McGill's strong performance yesterday lead to an unbelievable 53 points in his last game in Saudi Arabia

This was an impressive game for American Donte McGill (190-G-1995, college: FIU, agency: Green Sports Management) as the 29 year old guard had 53 points a second highest in the world when his team Al Wehda beat the Al Taawoun 100 to 83. On top of that McGill also recorded 9 rebounds and 11 assists that evening. He is the best scorer in the league averaging almost 33 points and over 5 rebounds per game.
He participated in the Eurobasket Summer League in Las Vegas 3 years ago. It helped him to get more exposure and attract teams overseas. For new university graduates looking to enter pro basketball this is a great first step in the right direction!
McGill is quite the traveller as his pro career brought him to five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America).
Among many awards McGill's college team made it to the EAEU Cup final in 2019. He was selected to the Asia-Basket Kazakhstan League All-Imports Team in 2022.
Also, McGill was awarded Player of the Week in the Saudi Arabian League 2 times already this season.
